To start.. I am a Christian and an American. I love my Lord Jesus Christ and my Country.. and I will blindly support my troops no matter where they are and under any circumstance, for without them, we would not have the freedom we enjoy and so often take for granted. I love our troops.. each and every one of them.. for they are all my brothers and sisters and I take each loss personally.

      In a few hours, days, weeks, months; however long it takes, the children, spouses, parents, siblings, friends, and associates of the very soldiers mentioned on these pages, will be reading these entries in the Prayer Book. They will be seeking some measure of comfort from the words written by caring, compassionate people.. and by knowing a nation shares their loss.

      Regardless of whether or not you personally think we should or should not be where we are... the plain fact is: we are there, we are fighting and we are dying..

      If you have some burning desire to make a political statement, write it to the "letters to the editor" of your local newspaper.. This is NOT the proper forum for your political statements.. Each and every entry in this prayer book will be proofed for appropriateness.. Any messages that include a political statement, will be summarily deleted and the IP of the writer will be banned from further access to this book.
